| Jennifer Pentrack was born in Silver Springs, MD and
also lived in Texas and Oregon as a child before her family moved
to Redding, CA in 1963. She graduated from Enterprise High School
in 1975, attended Shasta College, and then transferred to the University
of Oregon in Eugene where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree
in Biology in 1979.
After working as a Newspaper reporter, assisting in elementary
school education and also working as an assistant track and cross-country
coach, Jennifer focused her interests on pursuing physical therapy
as a career. She attended Boston University in Massachusetts and
was awarded a Masters degree in physical therapy in 1983. Upon completing
her education, she returned to California, working in several hospital-based
settings, home health care and outpatient physical therapy in the
Chico and Davis areas before settling in Mt. Shasta in 1989.
Jennifer has been with Mt. Shasta Physical Therapy since 1990 and
has extensive experience in outpatient physical therapy care. Her
areas of special interest include recovery from orthopedic injuries,
aquatic physical therapy, fibromyalgia treatment, foot and ankle
rehabilitation, and custom shoe orthotic fabrication.
In addition to the enjoyment and satisfaction Jennifer receives
from her work, she values her time spent with her husband, daughters,
and father. Favorite activities include reading, running, gardening,
hiking, and back-country skiing as well as various sewing and art
projects. She is pleased to be able to call Siskiyou County her
home.
