| Megan Bainbridge was born in Arcata, CA and then lived
in Etna before moving to Mt. Shasta in 1981. She graduated from Mt.
Shasta High School in 1992, attended College of the Siskiyous, and
then transferred to University of California in Davis where she earned
a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise physiology and a Minor in
Psychology in 1997.
Megan married and moved to Truckee and worked for two years in
a physical therapy clinic as an accounts receivable manager and
physical therapy aide to further pursue a career in physical therapy.
She attended Samuel Merritt College in Oakland and was awarded a
Masters degree in physical therapy in February of 2002.
Megan has been with Mt. Shasta Physical Therapy since April 2002.
Her areas of special interest include recovery from orthopedic injuries
and manual therapy. Megan also has had experience in neurologic
rehabilitation. Megan had worked for Northern California Rehabilitation
in Redding, but has chosen to focus her skills in Siskiyou County.
When Megan isn’t working she enjoys spending time with her
husband, family and friends. Her favorite activities include gardening,
reading, hiking, rafting, snowboarding, camping, stained glass projects
and watching movies.
